Read how Pathogenic Game Wiki verifies evidence, labels uncertainty, records corrections and uses AI assistance without treating it as a factual source.
Evidence levels
- •A: official store information, developer announcements, official patch notes, or recorded in-game evidence.
- •B: the same observation independently reproduced by at least two reliable players or creators.
- •C: a single video, discussion, comment or submission that has not been reproduced.
Publication rules
- •Calculators and deterministic rules may use only A-level evidence.
- •B-level observations must be clearly labelled and may not override an official source without explanation.
- •C-level claims remain unconfirmed and are not presented as facts.
- •Published facts link to the dated source records used, and each page shows when its public content was last updated.
AI assistance
AI may help organize notes, compare source records and check consistency. It is not treated as a factual source, and public claims must remain traceable to the listed external records.
Patch response
When a patch changes a named mechanic, affected pages are rechecked. Exact numbers are removed or marked historical until the new build is verified.
